PM Drive Host/Music Assistant - Windsor’s Country 95.9/92.7- Windsor, Ontario
Windsor's Country 95.9/92.7 is Windsor’s first choice for country music, in one of Canada’s most competitive radio markets. Windsor is a vibrant city, sitting on the historic Detroit river, across from the 11th largest metro in the US, and we’re on the hunt for our next Country Radio Superstar!
Ready to take your talents to the next level? Are you passionate and knowledgeable about today’s country music? Know how to get callers and engage with listeners onair, making them part of the fabric of a slickly produced show? Are you social media savvy ? We want a professional on and off the air who is ready to set roots and proactively network and represent the brand in the community every chance you can! You may be the ONE!
Responsibilities:
•Prepare, produce, and execute a highly competitive afternoon drive (2p - 7p) radio show that is fun, caller-involved, in-touch with the artists we play, and the local news and events people care about, reflecting the spirit of the format.
•Deliver amazing customer service both internally with staff and externally with clients and listeners.
•Attend public appearances, remotes, charitable and community events throughout Windsor-Essex County and hit the road for ongoing promotions appearances, representing the brand with integrity.
•Daily voice tracking for our secondary market in Leamington, Ontario.
•Provide music scheduling assistance to the Program Manager in adherence to the strategies and objectives of the brand.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
•Post-secondary education in Radio Broadcasting.
•Working knowledge of MusicMaster, MediaTouch (MTS), Adobe Audition and a love of Country Music an asset.
•Very strong work ethic, communication, writing, and organization skills, with high attention to detail.
